This whole thread just seems to be endless rants about very stereotypical views.

Basically "beauty" is seen differently. Every single person in the world has their own perception of beauty (even though some may share the same attraction).

As for people calling American's fat and lazy. There are many unhealthy options in the world not just the United States. Food is cheaper here, and it is a lot less natural then it used to be (what with substitutions and artificial preservatives etc.). Hamburgers at for example McDonalds only has about 10-13grams of protein as opposed to a natural hamburger having 28-30 grams. Being fat is a choice by people, some may even find that beautiful.

Saying all Americans are fat is straight ignorant. I am personally not fat I am a college football player and body builder. Eat pretty healthy (slip up sometimes) but maintain about 6-8 meals a day. Im 6 foot 188 lbs. and bench 310 and squat just over 400. Tell my 11% body fat that I am overweight :P

But like I said before beauty is perceived in different ways. I personally think I am more attractive with big arms and chest with a 6 pack. Some may want to be a chicken chest and skinny af and others may want to be fat.

Moral of this story: Beauty is just a perception. Make yourself feel beautiful and DO WHATEVER THE F**K YOU WANNA DO!

This is what I was getting at earlier. About beauty being subjective... Also, this may sound contradictory but as much as it is subjective there is a base view of how people should look. It's forced on people with sports magazines, playboy and celebrities.

About the fat part. I can't speak for everyones messages. But the ones I did read, where saying not so much that every American is fat, but more they have the highest percentage. Which I was saying is down to variety and cheapness being a large factor.

How can you say that North America and South America are continents? America is an entire continent, USA is from the American continent, if you say that you hate North America, you're saying that you hate Mexico and Canada too.

The problem with the food in USA is because of being too cheap, life is way more easier in USA that's why people get fat, but who cares? Its people choice.

If you find a lot of mcdonalds in USA, you can also find a lot of GYMS in there.

I bet that the people here complaining about the fat is like the average gamer, skinny as **** or fat as hell, you only hate USA because the internet make you guys to hate it.

I find USA a big opportunity to live in. Note, i'm not from USA, i'm dominican.

Just stop complaining and blaming all the **** you find in the internet to ****ing usa, tell me how ****ing perfect is your ****ing country?

Wrong south america and north america are 2 continents.

Also try use more polite words instead of **** or ****ing ..... and no one did complain or blame so go away

In my times of school, they teach us about 5 continents:

Asia, Africa, Europe, America, The continent of Oceania or Australia

Also read the posts better you can see the complaining, and I did say that many people (not just here) over the world blame USA thinking that their country is the most awesome ever.

In my time of School they teach me exactly the same that you wrote.

There 6 continets south and north america are seperated continents .

Also other countries arent perfect but america always is in war with other countries prob they like war? Like my countrie is not perfect but we never have war neither a lot of fat people and here food is cheap too so bad excuse. Its a fact americans doesnt like cooking healthy stuff like spinach or so .

These people doesnt want to look like americans but more like there idols.

True which again points to what has been said about Americans having better lives (not meaning our life is more valuable but because we are blessed with so many things other countries may not have such as African and Middle East countries).

Also celebs and the media give all of us the idea we need to do this or look like this to be considered sexy, beautiful, etc.

But yes definitely should make a thread! Weight training in general is good for everyone. I just started a bulking phase myself and am going to cut before the next semester of school

So your saying its a fact Americans do not eat healthy? Are you serious? Sure, food is cheaper here that some other countries but you cant slum everyone, with some. That's like saying all caucasians are racist, it simply isn't true. Another thing, "maybe they like war?"? Just no.

But to the point of the topic,

America is usually in war because somewhere along the lines of the start to the 20th century America became a global powerhouse and decided to act as the police force for many countries that are in need. You yourself should know this because of your love for South Korea (wouldn't even exist if it were not for the United States intervening)

Americans can be regarded by fat by the majority of other countries because we have so much more than most. Honestly look at the facts. And by no means whatsoever am I bragging but as it stands the United States as a whole lives much better lives than for example people in North Korea, Ghana, Iraq, Greece, China, just to name a few. Also you have yet to take into consideration what others have already stated about food being cheaper and much more available here, as well as the fact that we make far more money in our jobs to feed our families.

In the streets being fat means that you have money, you have power, you aren't out here starving.

So please drop your stereotypical views about other countries because the fact is it is just ignorant.


Also:

As for the idol parts most peoples idols are American actors/movie stars, athletes etc. Of course not all but the vast majority of the world idols come from America/Europe(who they are trying to look like)
