The first Taiwanese closed beta has been announced to start next week on May 12th and run until May 15th. Servers will be open to play on May 12th and 13th from 5PM to 10PM (5 hours) and then again on May 14th and 15th from 2PM to 10PM (8 hours) (all times are in Chinese Standard Time).

The version of the game that will be used during the beta is 1.51.26, a version that has yet to be released on the Korean servers, but was playable on the most recent test servers. The most noticeable changes in this version include class balancing, a new weight system for equipable items, and a new interface for identifying monster aggression.
In addition, new art and texture files have been added to the game that give us some insight into future content that will probably not be playable until much later.

The characters during the Frieza saga obviously seem to suggest that the upcoming TMQ 7 will end around the time Goku arrives at the battle. The two other events are going to deal with DBO's upcoming in-game card game, "
Dragon World Challenge". The first event seems to take you back to the time when Goku and Master Roshi first meet while the second obviously involves King Piccolo and his children.
The game is currently not playable. If you try to run the launcher you'll get an error in Chinese and if you try to run DBO.exe you'll get a GameGuard error. Go here if you're having trouble installing the game.

Scans of hand-outs given during a recent offline beta test have shown that there will be an Open beta following a second closed beta.
