ive tried reporting this to the tech section but its been almost 2 days and no response from anyone. (honestly wonder if there are any staff in this game or at least someone that could actually tell me whats wrong. So trying luck here) I basically downloaded did the english patch and clicked start and the program refuses to go any further. Opened the task manager and it says it isnt responding. Ive reinstalled it 3x already and dealt with the annoying patching process that takes like 2 and a half hours in addition to the 1hr time it takes me to re download the file. While im not new to forums I know the obvious first thing people say is search first. I have ive read a few threads on it and none actually end with someone saying anything has changed. Ive only just once managed to get it to start up but after trying to log in it gave the script which im guessing is the terms of use. And again stopped responding. It took like 10-15 mins to respond for the first time but I keep running into this each time I try to start up the game. Its been about 10 mins now and still hasnt responded. Is it something in the files? or just in my comp itself. (running it as admin ofc and I dont use AVG and my current antivirus isnt blocking it)
After the 2nd not responding situation if I leave it and wait it eventually closes itself >.>
and put ur english patch on this directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\DBO_CT_TW
(if u changed ur directory, put it on the DBO main folder)
Have it there originally that would be the problem and I would get the message cannot find DBO.exe when I try to use the english patch. The problem still remains that it freezes and just refuses to respond after I do type in my user name and password and are given that script. After I click the box in the script nothing happens and it just stops.
If you start the game and keep clicking the dbo.exe (the game) don't
Make sure you don't use english patch before starting DBO
Hmmmm I was told to wait for the launcher to patch itself then run the english patch then start the game. Or at least according to a youtube vid I was supposed to. Though I know to only click it once. Tried unpatching then starting that didn't work either
