That is terrible. People hear about starvation in places but seeing it is a different thing altogether.

That's just awful:(
A common misconception to anti-communist people is that it is the government and not the people. This is the result and it really breaks my heart. Kim Jong-Un, his associates and his supporters(which aren't forced to support him) can take a spear up the ass. This is a problem.

To be honest, I think most of us have known about this for a while. (at least, I have...) The problem is, it's not feasible for any country to step in and to attempt to feed these people because of the rocky diplomatic relations North Korea has with most of the world. Nuclear strike or not, there's a good chance they'd view it as an act of war, which I don't think anyone wants. The most tragic part about this is the simple fact that there's not much anyone can do to help...

I can only think of that happening if the world wasn't overpopulated

this, with a still growing population food will eventually become sparse

Also, thousands of pounds of food (or maybe more) is being thrown away at an alarming rate. If there would be a way to somehow distribute food evenly we could feed everyone. I know it isn't as simple as that, but food that could feed her and even more people is being thrown out just because we couldn't make a single buck out of it.
