When I start the launcher and then go into the game and try to login chinese letters pop up. One set of chinese letters is yellow and the other set is red. I dont know whats going on.

i just downloaded the most resent vrsoin an it worked fine until i tryd to log in again the i had the same problem. i dont know what to do.

that problem had i too you must evrytime reinstall and update the latest version

You have to delete everything DBO related on your computer (backup your character/s if you want to) and then download DBO reinstall it and it should work fine. Trust me, I've had this problem before.

also make sure to right click the launcher and click Run As Admin. You should only do this once. After you play it, go to the file where you have all of your DBO stuff and right click on the application named DBO (just DBO nothing more) and click run as admin. You can do this to get into the game faster than running the launcher. I hope I helped.

it still doesnt work

i reinstalled it and ran it as admin on the launcher and the DBO file and it still wont let me login. i have made 8 accounts to see if they would work but no luck. It still shows a box filled with Chinese letters.

I had the same problem. Are you downloading the torrent file or from the website? I had that problem till I downloaded the torrent. Then I ran the set-up as admin. Then the launcher as admin. The launcher should take a LONG time downloading and patching to get to the latest version. Once it finally does, click start and log in. If it works, exit the program and install your patch and run the launcher again. After you play, you can go straight to the DBO.EXE file in your program folder and that should be all.
