I've gone through this error so many times I could fix this in my sleep.
-Completely Uninstall everything (including the DBO_CT_TW file in your program files)
-Re-install, as well as what anti-virus do you have. Turn it off while downloading DBO.
-After that reinstall from the downloaded DBO file in your downloads, let it download open up DBO let it patch and if you get the first pop-up after it patches let me know i could help you further

DO NOT FORGET TO DELETE THE DBO_CT_TW FILE FROM YOUR PROGRAM FILES!

Re-install i dont have McAfree anti virus on my computer and firewall is turned off.

you did. i letted the DBO launcher patch fully befor this with no anti virus
and i also clicked here to repatch
and still

DBOlauncher Error still shows up.

He said to delete the game folder after you uninstalled you must remove all traces of dbo from your computer before reinstalling use the dbo setup.exe you downloaded either through utorrent or the downloader below that on the wasabii page I too am having trouble with this while installing on a second computer however I have had that launcher error many times on the computer I currently have dbo installed on I clicked okay then hit the start button and it worked just fine after this last update we has on 9/12/12 it went away and I never saw it again but on this new computer I am attempting to install it on I am getting that stupid ?????????????? Error after I try and run the game so I have begun deleting my macafee and set my firewall to allow dbo through gonna uninstall and remove dbo game folder and try again if it fails to work do you have any ideas as to what to do I have windows7 on both computers only difference was my anti virus have norton on the one that the game works on? 32 bit too if any ideas that would be great gonna try redownloading the utorrent again as well just incase it some how missed a file or something

Do not re-install from DBO_CT_TW
Reinstall from C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Downloads or just go to my document and look for your downloads folder, and rei-install from there

I runed the DBO launcher again this time in Admen and no DBOlauncher Error showed up
and when it was loading it did not stop loading so what the hell is wrong here
i patched everything.

It has nothing to do with Anti-Virus or English patch i dont have non of them

There could be a problem with the file you downloaded to get the dbo setup it has happened to me before where the download got interrupted very briefly and it was missing a tiny amount of information try downloading utorrent or using the dbo downloader the dbosetup.exe should be 3.31gs I had an issue where it wound up being only 3.30gigs a tiny bit missing had to redownload the torrent but you have to delete the game folder as the old files that are messed up can still remain causing the problem. I have seen some pages suggest running setup in admin as well but if you did not uninstall and delete folder dbo_ct_tw then that would cause a problem make sure if you have not done this you do it and then run the setup program again. If you get that launcher error it does not mean you can not run the game as I said above I had that problem before updat to .27 and the game ran fine if you get the ????????? Error after then there is still a problem for what I have seen on various tech threads it is a problem with the lang0 that does that but that may be incorrect as I have yet to test it.




Edit: something I forgot to mention AVG will cause problems with dbo also ng something not sure of full name of that anti-virus as far as I am aware of norton is the only one that will not give you problems with dbo

Not sure if this needs to be done in this case but in some cases you may have to change your comps language to traditional Chinese again I don't think this is one of those times it does but for some problems that is the answer


EDIT2: RUNNING DBOSETUP.EXE IN ADMIN SOLVED THE PROBLEM

So i have to unistall DBOOnline and remove DBOOnline_Downloader_20120531
and download the client it took like 2 hours is there a way that i can just get the setup?
I mean, is there a repair tool or something? i mean what is the tiny amount of information
it missed.

You don't need to delete the downloader but it should not be in your dbocttw folder uninstall the game delete game folder then run the setup in admin
