Every time I open my launcher to play the game it starts patching. I'm wondering why and if there's a way to fix this.

It happens to me too , go into dbo tw folder and there's a file called. DBO . Run that as admin :)

That did it, Thanks! When the game actaully does get a new patch will i have to open the normal launcher top let it patch through then go and run the file as admin?

If you wanna stop the patching thing. Re-install the game and it won't do it anymore.

But i prefer using the way jonbradburn said. You wont have to see the dragon starter menu. I only use the other way to patch a new update

actually guys, you can set it to run as admin in compatibility settings. so just set that and you should be able to run it normally. I am about to test this and see if it works.

EDIT: ok guys i found a fix for it! in your dbo folder there is a file called "autointegrity" just add a couple s's to the name and it works fine.

It does work mate, I have done this by making the DBO.exe run as administrator and the launcher.exe run as administrator. Once you do this you can then create a short cut and launch the game as normal.
