I launch the game it loads up patches,then the game starts to open and this comes up
and it closes.

Here's what I did to get this game working again.

First I did an uninstall.

Then I deleted the DBO install folder, went , re-downloaded the game from the flash link. I did a re-install, allowed the auto update, then re-patched the language file, now I'm back online.

My best guess is very old versions of the game aren't compatible w/ the system anymore so you have completely uninstall them, and re-install an updated version.
