i launch it then it starts patching then (i think an error) comes up i click ok the start ball turns orange

If you get an error then try the manual patch

im having the same problem. everything loads up fine but i still cant log in. is it a maintenance thats being run? i have no clue. anyone have the answer?

I would suggest trying to uninstall, restart, then reinstall. See if that helps. I know it sucks to do, but sometimes that will fix the problem.
