When ever I play DBO it tends to over heat my laptop.

With that happening I can only play 5-10 mins at a time.

Anyway to fix this?

Bump.

Have you tried playing another game?
What type of laptop is it?
Does your laptop specifications meet Dragon ball onlines specifications?

I face overheating a lot, what I did was turn down the graphics to low settings.
Make sure you computer is breathing, have it on a hard flat surface

Also, have a cooling fan underneath your computer, use dust remover to clean out the dust. Dust is mostly the reason why most computers overheat.

That's generally what I did, turning the graphics on low settings really helped and its overheating a lot less then I use to.

I get some pretty high temperatures while playing DBO with my desktop. And my desktop is more than equipped to handle this game.

The game forces off v-sync. Basically your video device is rendering as many frames per second as it can do. If it's a newer laptop it could easily push about 200+ frames per second in this game. This is overworking your video card as the game has v-sync forced off (even with adjustments in your video control panel override options!) and has no frame limit cap for rendering. Theoretically speaking, the better frame rate you get, the more your video card is working/heating up.

You may want to try to slow down the frame rate by forcing anti-aliasing and/or anisotropic filtering. By "slow down" I mean something like 60-75 fps instead of 200+. The game is not that demanding so high end hardware can be victims of the no v-sync/no frame limit cap overheating issue.

Resident Evil 5 did this to some people's high end video cards on their desktops because there was no frame limit cap. However, the game at least let you force v-sync on in the nvidia/ati control panels to remedy the issue.
