It does, but at the same time you get used to it, What also is annoying is the 8 buffs limit.
Since this includes food/drink and healing-over-time/EP regain buffs.
A mighty majin type usually has like 2~4 AoE buffs, a dragon clan/dende has several AoE buffs and their HoT. Most classes have 2~6 self buffs, some even more. Though some buffs are situational due to their stats or duration.
It wouldn't be the first that i wasn't able to heal myself since someone buff me full or (after selfbuffing on my darkwarrior which has 7 buffs already) getting the wrong party buffs. Both i'd like to see changed (duration and buff cap), if only to see healing buffs in a different catagory so a fully buffed tank could still receive its HoT's and chug some food in the heat of battle.
It still takes some time to buff up, you can't cast 2 or more skills at once.
Even if you'd be able to macro with the time delay of casting the buff you cannot account for other players buffs nor would it go any faster.

How annoying, i'm used to playing a mage on WoW and even during raids buffind isn't that annoying >_>
Lol, intellect buff and mage armor of choice and go XD
Though a paladin in wow would still have to cast every of his buffs seperately even if they could work through most of it with addons...
As long as you have EP to cast kaioken and LP to stay in kaioken - yes.
I guess i misunderstood you question though, you'd prolly wanted to know what the difference between a 1SP and a 2 or 3 SP kaioken is.
In the end i don't think it really matters as the result will be the same, you die faster :P
