Probably a dumb question, but I'm going to ask any. What exactly is the difference with an emulator?

Well as part of the name.

We're emulating the servers. (Rewriting theirs ourselves)
We're not using their servers. (Private Servers)

patience is a virtue. all this "is it an emulator/private server?" talk really is pointless, I could care less either way. as long as they are still making progress everyone should chill the hell out and let them do their thing.

In between 1-100%

If you look their videos, they are done more than 20%. There is skills, almost done kokkara.
We don't know about namek,majin starter zone, korrin village and westland.

What I mean is would there be noticeable differences. Like how it plays, how it looks, etc.

Finished Kokkara = +20% of game? o.0 Good joke... It's more like 1%! No Mops, no npc's, Kokkara way from being done... Other maps? I guess between 0 and 10%...
Don't get me wrong, i hope they can finish it, alltough i don't think i will play again(2 years, 8x lvl 70 is enough)...
But before i don't see a vid which goes like: Make new char, play atleast 1 min of tutorial, do first 3 quests in 1 uncut video i won't believe this...

Btw... 57days before "DBO-Heroes" "Beta version server" starts...
