The id can be anything. Not just numbers from 0 to 999. I have an Id on one account with some symbols, like /( or $.

There is a way to change the password without the id but its not a nice way... some people use this way to steal others accounts. So, dont give you password or user name to anyone.

I used to think that is was a 3 digit number which made it significantly easier to hack accounts. I learned about 8 months ago it can be any combination of numbers and letters/symbols. So if i wanted i could have it as "e26738\8182"

The way in which to change without ID is using a simple account on the full account to change the password. I do not know the full ins and outs of it, i just know some users on here do.

Can't recover passwords or accounts. Only way would be to remember it. Maybe it's the same password as a former account? Or maybe it's the same password as your dbocom account or FaceBook account?
