Now that I think about it, I've never seen a GM do anything about zeni sellers, or seen a GM period.If anything, they tried to make themselves look scarce and inconspicuous. If they revamped their cash shop to sell zeni at fair prices to both foreigners and native/local people, they could've eliminated the issue with third party websites selling zeni and characters, and be making money off of it as well. A simple script could've easily auto-banned spam accounts, or censor the website address. But no, they didn't make any attempt to stop the third party sites from breaking their so called rules, that were hardly ever enforced.

Maybe cause they went out of business

In fact, ********** has nothing to do with the shutdown, actually NGW helped DBO stay alive a bit.
I know that because I used to help NGW out back on 2012 may / june and when I had to pay out 300kk zeni to a guy on HK, I asked someone from the customer service if "Wasabii won't shut down the site?" they said no, wasabii gets a % of the money, and NGW was reported many times, but Wasabii never done anything about it.

Believe it or not, that's true.
But yea, buying directly from the website would be a smarter idea, I believe they tohught "some extra cash from a 3rd party website won't ruin the game" well yes, they were right, they didn't ruin the game. Being greedy / fuckbugfix did.
