Reasons why ShadowKnight is ultimately better in PvE then a Dark Warrior.

1. Their single target avarage DPS in way higher.
2. Their AoE attacks are way more effective then any DW AOE attacks
-Self Destruction Wave : has potentional to rival SuperKamehame, in terms of dmg
-Violent slice, huge AoE, ok damage, STUNS the whole group, short cooldown.
3. ShadowKnights can hold agro of bosses or groups of mobs the best.
4. ShadowKnights are able to make way more effective combo's in PvE.
Sample: Deception (take agro 35m AOE!, ) - violent slice (stun and hurt all monsters who were pulled by agro) - Self destruction wave (kill all the monsters who are stunned)


Sure DW can tank really good, but their agro skills are bad and AoE skills are lacking in damage, and because of that, SK is way better.


BUT i have to add, u cant make a SK fully PVP and PVE at the same time
U have to make choices in ur build.
Either make SK king of the PVP ring
Or make SK the perfect monster slayer :)

I have to agree with the above. No matter how much i wanted to say DW are the kings of PvE those two compared, SK simply have the upper hand here aswell.
A little adding to the above: Both classes got the single target taunt. The DW have the short-ranged AoE taunt whilst the SK have the absolutely huge-ranged one with additionally debuff effect. Moreover, the sk got an aggro-gain buff and simply general higher dps (which is also needed to maintain the aggro)
Sad to say it, if it wasn't for the fact that DW's are so damned fun to play, they would be an absolutely exscinct class alltogether!

The class that sounds like it fits your preference the best

Go with SK, DW is probably the most underpowered class in the entire game, and SK dominates it in about every possible aspect.

The differences between SKs and DWs are:

Dark warriors - have higher defense, only problem is they are more "punching bags". Their attacks are weak and deal bad damage compared to SKs.

Shadow knights - Have lower defense but can deal more damage as they have a better range of debuffs to land and not to mention bold strike + violent slice.

If your deciding to main one of the two SK is the better choice. Dark warriors are only fun to play around with.

Now, if i was in a TMQ or UD i will always pick a DW over a SK anyday. Just because they are more Tank and have the aoe damage as well as their confuse skill.

Sk are better in PvP because of fear, cruse and life drain.

In my opinion, When they we're swapping skills and passive's between the opposite classes, They shouldve gave DW the aoe aggro skill and curse or fear as well as the violent slice they got.

It would've made them both balanced and give DW a good shot at PvP.

Tbh the reason why SK are so good is because they got Fear, curse and life steal all together which is a tough combo. If they got rid of one of them SKs power will go down.


When it comes down to it all. It doesn't matter. Have fun with ya class because at the end it comes down to who is geared properly and better
