That doesn't increase item drop rate. That's just a very bad English patch translation (main reason I don't use the English patch - it's wrong on a LOT of stuff).
You guys really don't know what it does do you? It picks up items. I don't know anything else about it but I know it picks up items. I don't know where people got the drop rate increase thing from...But seriously..It picks up items occasionally and stores them in an inventory.

its called "Capsule Spark Kit" or something, and its a pet ring with 16 slot bag, you cannot place anything inside of this bag, but you can take things out. and yes, it randomly picks up stuff from mobs you kill, hence you never see the item drop cause it goes directly into "capsule spark kit" or w/e.
