You can even fight same lvl mobs and drop dbs but the fact is the more the high lvl mobs it raises the chances on getting dbs

What level were you, I`m guessing 9? Since I heard you can only do the dragonball quest when ur 9 to get the db chip

He said "send him the db chip" as in mail it to him.

Who has been having great luck over the past weekend? I got 6 dragonballs over the last 3 days no joke. On Saturday I got 4 dragonballs in 1 day and I couldn't belive it, I wasn't using any tricks at all, just killing mobs that are 1 level higher than me.

Most Dbs I've ever got were 7 dbs in one TW event. When I started hunting, I had 3 dbs in my bag. At the end of the hunt, I had made a wish and my bag had 3 dbs.

What level were you then?

Excuse me for going a little off topic, but I can't figure out how to actually
use the dragon radar chip that I just got.

I put it in my scouter, right next to my quest search chip, and I figured
that I would have a new option when I go into scouter mode (3).

But instead I just have (1) scan a mob and (2) quest search.
Am I using it wrong? Or is the quest search and dragon radar one button now?

No. You put the chip in the scouter and wait for the db event. Now you need to find out what version you play to find out when is the db event. When it's the db event, you should see dots on your mini map, top right of screen (toggle key "N" if you can't see your mini map), and there will be db looking dot that is a mob but it has a chance to drop a db. Kill the db looking dots on your mini map to have a chance in getting a db. That's it.

There is no new option just look at your minimap when there's a db event. If there is a db mob in a group of regular mobs you can scan them to find which one you need to kill by the db looking icon that appears under the mob's information.
