How does the damage from your main and sub weapons get added to your attacks?
I'll use some made up stats as an example on a fighter.
My main weapon has 200 physical and energy attack.
My sub-weapon has 300 physical and energy attack.
My character's total physical attack stat is 700.
Now my total physical attack doesn't include my sub-weapon's attack. I.e. when I remove my sub-weapon my total attack is still 700.
Therefore, when I use wolf fang , I will do the same damage regardless of what sub-weapon I carry.
So now, I use high speed needle. Does the same principle apply? If I remove my main weapon, my attack drops to 500 but if I attack with my sub-weapon (high speed needle), will it cause as much damage as when I had my main weapon on?
Also, I have (as an example) +15% bonus crit damage on my main and +10% bonus crit damage on my sub-weapon as item attributes. So when I get a crit with wolf fang do I get +25% extra or only +15%? Same for high speed needle, will I get +25% or only +10%?
The weapon only relates to which one you use for attacking.
Your auto attack and base melee skills such as wolf fang only use your gloves.
As for sub-weapon damage I imagine it is much the same but any stat increases or attributes will still carry over from your gloves even if the damage on them doesn't effect the damage of an attack using the sub weapon.
So for example a + to crit chance or to base attack strength or any of your stats on your gloves should still effect damaging being delt on your sub-weapon however the base DPS of the gloves has nothing to do with sub-weapon attacks only auto and any melee/ki attacks that don't involve the sub-weapon.
