First off yes I have little to no skills on the coding field, I Never stated I have leet coding skills to help the project at first. I Was going to help other means in which I exceed at. 2nd Anyone can pick up and help? Sure, after the first couple months of opening the private server section on DBOCOM. They closed recruitment for team members. The whole reason I dislike DBOR myself is the nasty under handed way. Dumke or who ever make the decision to tried to shut down the DBORZ project in the first place. Lastly The fact that you let your DBOR member post shit topic on DBOCOM to come to your website. You all knew this but you did nothing about it. affiliate website with DBOCOM? That a serious amount of disrespect to a site your affiliate with. You can't what your user post I get it, but you all DBOR team could have done something. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the 20+ threads of "OH this forum is shit go to DBOR","Dude Why you even still posting here go to DBOR", And those were the nice ones.
So summary most of your team seem like awesome nice people.Just the action of one or two of your Team speak for your who team.
Lastly Tempest I understand your view point, But I still disagree but I won't insult a person because they have different opinion.If you have read what I said previously above you will know why RageZone dislike DBOR. I never had an issue with DBOR being closed source, I just wanted to see the game again nothing more nothing less. At the pace they are going it's going to be a while. Funny fact is i don't even want to play the game. My friends is in love with this game. The friends I made here still talk about DBO to this day. I wanted the game back asap for them.
You want to call that Selfishness? You want to say that keeping the game closed source will be more "Pro"?.

DBO R started through dbocom, and was recognized as this communities project, started by this community. RZ just came out of no where and started their own. Everyone else backs the project because of DBO R's origins. You have to understand that. Dude you are talking nonsense. DBOCOM and DBO R are affiliated with each other, as Dumke has discussed the issue with Citrinate. Both parties agreed that each site have been affiliated with each other, whether you like to believe that or not. In any case, the matter does not involve you, as far as I'm aware it only involves Citrinate and Dumke and the arrangement they made. People are welcome to post what they want. If they want to tell others to visit DBO R over DBOCOM then that's their choice. It still doesn't mean the sites aren't affiliated with each other. I think you are being unfair pointing the finger at Dumke. It's out of his control what people say to each other.

Let me clarify something to you. Ragezone won't have their server and the people work on server as if they would work for themselves. There are many people that work on server there but they do it for themselves and only share some features/files with other people so they could work on it to (what the hell did I just say??). So if they will release their files, people still should be able to edit everything they want. It wouldn't be perfect but that's why it's open source. Anyway, some people may have too much hope for it but in any way, you won't be decieved because they don't ask money for it or anything. You can only get a bit upset if people will stop doing work or won't share their server files. That's all that could happen. So don't spread false information.
Or of course after they create server they would try to profit from it or sell it and then it would be great opportunity for now bankrupt NTL earn some money as they could sue that person (although, I am not good at law, dunno if that could happen). but that wouldn't be our problem (damn I got too far away from my point).

I'm not spreading false information. I'm stating my experience with dumke as a leader of the original project. I'd rather take dumke's side over RZ because the whole project originated through dbocom, and it was the first project. Who knows, maybe if DBORZ first started on DBOCOM with a trust worthy experienced member like dumke probably I would back that project too. Fact is it didn't. Dumke has a really positive reputation with the community which is what I respect the most and why he is the right person to take on a project like this. I personally think the people of RZ are the wrong people, mainly because I have no prior knowledge to any of them. DBO R isn't asking for money, just like rage zone. They will only be open for donations, which is fair enough. Creating a whole server to hold the whole community of DBO does not come out of thin air, and does require funding. Please learn the difference between being open for donations and asking for money.

Main thing is, stop arguing and just ignore something you don't like. Everyone could start arguing about everything but that wouldn't achieve anything. I myself have a lot things I don't like about both RZ and DBOR but what would posting all them here accomplish? (yeah, I already said a couple of things but that's for specific people). Live your life, go outside, have fun. When DBO will be released, you will play it, no matter what the server (although, I myself would try RZ project, just for fun to become server's GOD(hell yeaaaah) but mainly I would play DBOR as it seems to be the biggest global server out there). Sorry bud, but I'm free to do what I want. If I choose to back and support a project over the other then I am welcome to do so. Don't go telling others to ignore something just because you read something you disagree with and have a different opinion to them. People have been living their lives, what do you think they have been doing? I don't know anyone who has been twiddling their thumbs sitting around to play DBO. Which is why I said I don't care how long it takes for the game to come out. I've played the game already for a good long period of time, so I'm not in any rush to play it again.

Well, there were dozens of people like that in DBOR website, on those RZ threads which seem like internet badasses. Now, in this thread, everyone says what they think and it seems no one is starting a war here yet. That's how it should be. Let me rephrase it. Most users are looking forward to Dbor, but if isn't launched first they will play the other. Assuming there is a significant time gap between releases, we can also assume people will grow attached to their character the longer they have to gear and level it.
Even if the user thinks the other server is better hosted, they won't switch and lose everything they have earned, or leave friends who don't want to switch. |

Trust me even if the other comes out first . Once DBOR is out theyill run into DBOR . In the other cilents there is no fly new upgrade system scouter system skills u have to obtain from the masters . There cilent is 2009 . DBOR is a fully updated client Done by people who KNOW what they are doing . Also in DBOR they will be able to release new content . And its more legit to my eyes .

i dont think anyone on DBOR will use there GM powers to there advantage . there not 12 years old .There mature people who know what they are doing . Calling it Uprise DBOR is stupid .
