Dbo was doomed from the start by being based on an old game engine. No matter where it was launched it was not going to overtake the more exciting games coming out, Dragonball or not.

Game play is a much bigger factor then the theme they slap on top of it. There is a reason few players from 09-10 still play regularly before the announce meant of any closing server.

Come on guys, Let's be real - The gameplay wasn't always terrible.

Also, take into consideration all the friends & nakama you've met in this game...

I'm beginning to think that i'm the only one who enjoyed DBO truely for what it was..A Dragon Ball MMO, A sub-par MMO but the only one that was Dragon Ball..That was enough to keep my weebo ass playing all these years..

Sigh, Unlike you guys the shut down with deeply sadden me because I will not be able to live out my Dragon Ball rpg fantasy...

MMOs are shitty games imo, that will all end up like the others.

Uprise, Genocide, DragonBall, MarineCorps, Royalty...I'll miss the times we had and it's still sad to see it go away..
