So I'm currently using my tv as a comp monitor and it was working just fine yesterday but I went to log in to dbo and all that shit last night and it said no signal. I checked the VGA cord and both sides were connected properly so I tried restarting my comp and it finally showed the startup screen but then the monitor said no signal again before I could get to log in screen for comp users. I checked everything and even tried unplugging both but nothing is working... HELP

power up your pc/laptot,without the plug in,let it boot up,plug it and wait for sync, then try to change the resolution b4 you enter the game...make it at lower first and increase in game till it gets off signal, the last working resolution is the one that you can run the game with it,if it doesnt show up anything, then your screen might not support your video card hrz, then you should try to open your video cards utility and lower it from there...you should make it work either ways i said...

But is not dbo it's my comp. It will show the reboot screen and before I log in to my computer user, it goes to no signal. It's weird cuz I haven't changed the res on my comp in weeks.

There are 2 ways to check it proper to see what is happening,1 way is to get a friends monitor and test if it boots up without loosing sync, other way is to get a friends video card and test it,all this brings me in mind also a boot failure that causes graphic glitch, wich means a hard disk failure,so also another disk with windows as boot disk could help out for a test,if all those are hard to get,try to insert your windows boot cd and try to boot from it,if the tv still goes out of sync, then it aint a disk failure,so you will need to replace your video card for a last resort of a check

might also be corrupted graphic card drivers try booting safe mode uninstall your graphic cards drivers restart boot normal if it syncs you know it was your drivers just reinstall once booted had same issue goodluck

I hooked up my older monitor, an actual computer monitor from like 2000 and it worked just fine. I think my tv might be a piece of shit. When I get time I'll try those suggestions.
