does it say windows explorer failed and turn off? thats what happened to me, i fixed it though

No..just load nprotect gameguard , open the exe (dbo), freeze and restart pc.
No type of error, nothing.

I have tried to update graphic driver (ok), directx (ok).
Unistall and reinstall the game...
Is the same, when i press start, bum..

After freeze my pc restarting. I can't do nothing.. Maybe i need to wait another patch for win 8?

I never had to change anything dealing with regions, I just installed and launched the client and played.

I've played game so much graphic powerfull than dbo. I don't think it is the graphic card drivers or direct x version.. But, i want to play. I don't know how, but i want.

#Solved : the problem was Avast antivirus (I had to uninstall it for solve). Thanks all!
