when I try to play it , it says error critical process . Can u please make it compatable for windows 8. I use to have windows 7 until we moved to Dubai and bought windows 8.

I am getting the same error. Please help. I have tried running it as administrator, but nothing fixes the critical process dying.

I had this issue, then i just deleted gameguard(the entire folder), and it worked for me, make sure you have the latest version and completely up to date graphic drivers.

Run as admin, and don't have anything else open at the time.

That's how i fixed mine, hopefully it works for you too.

Updated driver, deleted gameguard, made sure I was all updated, ran the game as admin, and it reinstalled gameguard and then crashed again.

if you are using avast anti-virus it could be causing the conflict as avast has compatibility issues with windows 8

Ah... yes, I am using avast... what should I do? Should I get a new anti-virus software? If so, what do you recommend.

I have avast too, and i haven't got any issues, i've been running avast since the start of the year, I doubt it's that, but give it a try

Mines always set to silent/Gaming mode, but try turning your Avast off before starting up.

there must be something else wrong with it, because mine runs perfectly fine.
