So basically, if we post in the wrong section on accident we get infracted but what if a mod does that? Or deletes a post that didn't need to be deleted, what happens then?

We rarely actually give infractions for small issues such as wrong section, usually we just move it and leave it at that. If you're getting an infraction for wrong section its because you have been here so long that you not knowing the rules just seems insulting.

If you ever have an issue were you think you were wrongly infracted you can message Cit or I.

from what i've observed nothing happens to ur post once its deleted, it wont be restored from my experience.
I dont expect forum users to hold great emotional value to their posts, but if it does upset you one of your posts get deleted, wich afterwards wasnt needed, i gues you can repost it.

As to moderators, they are trying to do their job on the forum, as human beings we sadly do make mistakes.
You cannot expect a moderator to make no mistakes, but you can expect them to handle their mistakes wisely.

I dont think you should infrict moderators for doing their job, they do are merely volunteers doing this work for free trying to keep this forum best as possible, if you do alot work, you tend to do mistakes every now and then. you simple have to tolerate it.

If too many ''mistakes'' are made on purpose against a person or group, then simple it means this forum moderator should be warned, and if it continue it simple means they are not fit for being moderator.

Some people hold more emotional value than others. The more time you dedicate to something the increased likelihood that one becomes attached to that activity. I wouldn't be surprised if the more dedicated members of this community were more emotionally invested in their posts than others.

Moderators are allowed to make mistakes but then again so are the users. Infractions for posting in the wrong section seems pretty stiff by my standards. There shouldn't be a problem if the post is without any malicious content. All moderators have to do is move the desired thread or post. Infractions seem a bit extreme in this case and all it does is alienate users from posting on the forums. For a community driven site like this one, I believe this is a concern and may have future ramifications in the long term.

This exactly

Like I said we more or less ignore minor rule breaking unless it is repeated frequently.

Posting in the wrong section used to be a HUGE issue. For those of you who were on here long enough, you'll know it was one of the reasons why i became a mod. The site used to be pretty much TW version only. The general discussion was for TW errors, the gameplay used to be a place for TW version people to talk about anything dealing with that version, and so on. The actual TW forum was never used and any people who posted from the KR version were pretty much disowned. The HK version was either new or wasn't there at the time so there were no people from the HK version on the site.

We did tone down on the infractions for posting in the wrong section because people are human and do mess up. We just can't let it completely go and turn back to how it was though. There are forums for a reason, if we didn't enforce this rule at all, then people could post wherever they wanted.

I don't infract people for posting in the wrong section. If am in a good mood i handle it myself by moving it in the right direction but if am not or don't have time i let other mods handle it.

Moderators are being chosen carefully.
Every deleted post, thread, infraction & other similar things appear in our "Moderator" section where other moderators & the administrator can check them and discuss about them if necessary.

Infraction system for moderators is not necessary. If you have problems with an moderator or think he did his job bad then feel free to contact another moderator or the admin himself to check the situation.

Now am gonna use my "Close thread no jutsu" to end this mess.

P.S - Moderators,at least i do not infract for little mistakes. But i had pleasure infracting the toxic posters in one thread
