Tbh English version will be more successful than any version.

Imagine those from this forum and then those who will play from America, Canada, Austrailia and all the countries from Europe....Thats a huge Player base and not to menetion alot of those countries have money to spend on this mmo because of all the goku and vegeta fan-boys..

That will be great...

I just don't like that there's a Country Version....I think it would be better if there was continents or language.

Well, if there was a JAP release then alot of those from the forums will go there just to try something new and then it will seperate the community even more

.....and imagine how many hackers etc there will be then *-*....

I'm fine with the current situation....there is no need for another version etc. Nobody needs to know what is written in the quests....you can see everything on map....

Maybe i am the only one who thinks like this, but i hope there won't be any DBO server releases muhahahahah ;D

Well...look at it this way...All those DBZ fans in that speak english and spanish that don't know about DBO because theres no promotion for it since they don't have a version. Or thoses who don't want to play with asian languages

potential yes but when ur developers are only money hungry and dont actually love the game and see this mmo as only a job and not a manga or its own series in a mmo format... this is what u get.. most of the tw and chinese cash .. even with some unintentional money coming in (those of us who cash) they still can get good funding for this game or great sponsors... if something dramatic doesnt happen, like freakin bill gates son starts playing this game and tell his dad.. I think this game will remain stale as it is now.. eventually they will add a language select option at some point, but unless they grow a brain and some balls and start promoting this game internationally they wont see any NEW profits there for we will be stuck with these low rate developers

We both think the same. I bet NTL doesn't know how to do marketing. With the new movie coming out people will once again get interested in DB franchise, but it seems NTL doesn't give a (you all know what) about a perfect opportunity to promote their game. From good DBZ MMORPG they could make perfect cash cow, all investments would be payed back x10 times, but who cares? Looks like they are satisfied with incomplete MMORPG and low cash flow. They created DBO just to promote their company, togain attention . It supposed to be NTL's triumph card, but they lost DB spirit in themselves.

Pluss DBO has only 2 trailers which barely matches the gameplay itself, there are no proper game reviews and basicly the biggest information source about DBO is this site thanks to the Citrinate but developers still want foreigner money though game doesn't support us at all.

Two words : IP Block. (Technically, that's three words, but whatever.)

Most JP games out there have IP blocks these days, to prevent foreigner invasions and, more specifically, Chinese gold farmers. Though, it doesn't do much to stop the Chinese gold farmers, but it does make it significantly harder for legitimate foreigner players to play the game without buying VPN/proxy services. Free to use services are usually either blocked, picked up as hacking devices, or simply don't work due to the way the game is required to launch.

That being said, depending on what type of IP blocking they use and what method they use for launching the game, maybe no one outside of Japan can play (easily, at least).

Either way, I've been looking forward to a Japanese release since the Korean version's release. I don't think it'll be coming out any time soon. I constantly badger NTL, on their facebook page, with messages in Japanese, asking for a Japanese release, but they just ignore me. lol They're very into making their iPhone games, though...
