Hello Forum,
Is there a way we can start some events in the forum? Just gives us something to do and work for on the forum. I think it would be cool.

I didn't say everyone plays Taiwan =.=
i am saying let's create events for the event in whole. The links you provided we're from a HK event that was for HK only. Why not create a in-game race, screenshot for every version.

We've actually been discussing something similar to this (except the idea wasn't events) in order to give people the reason to improve the condition of the forum. However, given the current translation project, such an idea won't be processed for a while.
The negative part of this is that people here are immature and can take not being #1 too hard and start attacking others - especially the one who wins. This could cause needless drama.
Would there be rewards for these? Or are they just temporary "titles?" If there are rewards, who would be providing them?
I could easily see such an event being a player-hosted thing, just like many other sites I visit have something similar. However, if things got out of hand or if things such as "most stupid player" were to come up, we'd have to do something about that.

Dat Translation project isn't a big deal since a little over 60% of the foreign community doesn't use the engl, ishpatch anymore.
But, yes the title system i know has been being discusses but, i am not sure.
As of rewards, It can be discussed determining the events. We can have contributors/sponsers or just give power level title and ****.
Those who act immature can get easy infractions and bans. simple

How would we give away the title of Forum member of the month? Whoever has their PL raised the most? I could just get a bunch of people to thank me over and over. When they hit the cap for thanking me, they'd thank a few other random posts just so I could get a PL increase again.
An in-game race would only work if we had people who had doubtless integrity and who won't sit there and try cheapening the race by saying "Oh well he got here .2124 seconds faster so he wins even though I haz no proof to back it up". Also remember that what happens on your screen won't be the same for everyone (i.e If you and I were to judge and SS the results, we'd probably have two different victors unless someone was way ahead). There's also the rule of not posting SS with the names of other players.
For the best screenshot, read that last statement again.
What do we do for most populated guild? Are you counting the site only, or in-game only?
What posts qualify for the "Most posts in a day"? Can I just go and past "aaabbbccc" in every thread and win?
What would we do for the "best" titles? Try voting on it? Because I happen to know two guilds that would completely tear apart a forum if they saw a player from the other guild was nominated. Do we just let mods be impartial and carry it out? Defeats the purpose of hosting community wide events.
If you're serious about this, you need to put a lot of thought into how things are going to work. Because that list of things that could go wrong literally came from the top of my head. Again, an idea that would work if our community had some maturity.
