Instead of finding a different way Uninstall and reinstall have launcher run as administrator let it catch up press start if works english patch if you need it and other than that you can run the exe file (run as administrator) doing this works 100% of the time for me but takes longer cuz if each new atch
Here is what i suggest first uninstalll the game and delete the game folder. Then when you go to install right click the install program/DBOsetup and run it as admin. Then let it do what it needs too and then run the launcher as admin. By running the install program as admin you will not need to run the .exe everytime and can just use the desktop shortcut for the launcher (remember always running it as admin) that way it will not take longer. Also by doing it this way you eliminate all errors that can and sometimes do occur with the launcher and patching issues as well.
