I'm glad I'm seeing more sub-forums under class discussion. Maybe because of 70 update, new events, or my old thread. However, it appears that SM aren't appealing to the new generation of DBO players. (That use this forum anyway)

All I see are Fighter builds, Fighter questions, everything. If you check through the pages of Martial Artist sub-forum, you'd be lucky to find the SM to Fighter thread ratio 1:3.

More importantly, still happy to see people are asking more about different classes than just the OP ones.

SM & Fighter can OP too...
I knew a turtle that was like a SK with defenses & LP in 60 patch.
Dealing 50k crits on plat (with 60 patch).

SM are best OP'd through a 2nd character. SM are very gear dependent and only can fight 1 or 2 mobs at a time. So, PvE is bad for the SM, and SM can barely keep up, like I said gear dependent. I admit, they can OP if they have the money. But they usually get theirs through another character they made that is OP too

ye Swords were very popular in 55 and 60 cap. Most switched to other classes tho like SK and Ultima

Fighters got alot of attention with the damage increases and attack speed being un capped

But then again when is the last time you've seen a top ranking swordie? (I honestly don't know, not trying to "prove a point" here)

Still no balance, lovely.

Well, I still have my swordie, they are still rather the most interesting Class, as you have to actually be good with them to do good, otherwise, you'd die easy, i'm assuming that's why it's not interesting anymore.

That is good to hear, however that may be, people still aren't choosing SM a lot, if you want a good SM, you have to spend a lot of money on it, and you need good gear to even earn money, so you'll need an OP class that can do it, that way your SM builds up then, he'll become a good player

Well some people have more fun playing with Majin's & Nameks while some are more into PvP so they choose the classes best suited for it.
