Hi guys im having this problem and after the last couple of updates iv seen others are having the same problem but if any1 could help would be much appreciated. btw i have uninstalled the game then reinstalled it with the english patch

deinstall it remove the folder where it was installed and install the game again thats what i did and worked

shall i fully update it then add the english patch or will it not work with the english patch?

What pic? And when you uninstalled did you delete the entire folder after you uninstalled?

No need to uninstall the game.
The problem "Debug assertion failed" can be solved by removing the patch file translation and repairing the installation.

well im trying to patch it up now but the automatic patcher isnt working properly so i downloaded the simple patch but even that isnt patching up correctly

Check the file CurrentPatchVer.XML(file hiden into folder \DBO_CT_TW);
Compare your version with the latest version of link http://patchdbo.wasabii.com.tw/Downl...tchVerList.XML
If you want to update again, modify the file with information from a previous version.
