Well, my error isn't the "C++" thingie or whatever, my error is when a little text box full of question marks pops up and whatever solution i tried that error always shows up. help me pls
yes, i tried both of yours and it still doesn't work and with yours silje, i tried it and i dont know if i didnt download the patch right and when i came back to my dbo folder after it failed, the folder with the patch u posted on the thread was deleted or something and, i didnt know what u meant by manualy installing that patch because all it says on my computer is save and open.

It's Deucalian. As far as my help, I have yet to see anything about your issue. I've managed to solve most of the others, but maybe try any of these solutions:
1) Download the newest lang0.pak and replace the former with this one.
2) Remove the English patch and all of it's components (base.pak, the English patch app, and the readme.txt)
3) Try bypassing the launcher by going into the DBO_TW core file and selecting the DBO app
4) Go into the core file and remove the CurrentPatchVer and patchw32.dll and then manually patch it using one of official site's patches.
5) Uninstall the entire game (search your OS for DBO after the uninstall to remove everything) and re-install.
