As for your question, yes just leave it until no more updates are required, when that will happen, those 2 orange bars will no longer load or anything, as for the lastest version, 1.57.5(1218) is the last one. After that you just press Start and Log In, chose the Server (1 or 2), create an Character afterwards and just get into the game.

It's not a full-game patch but it translates most of the interfaces excepting Skills names and some other things. You might also be confused about the quests(which are also not translated).. well, each of us was I guess but after you take one just open your World Map and take a look on it, the Map will show you where to go and most likely what to do. A red circle shows the place where you'll find the moobs you need to kill, an first-rank-like symbol usually shows you the exact place where the Boss (usually) you need to kill is and then the Red Cross (X) shows you the places where you need to return the quests. As for the very first quest after you'll leave the Kame Island (in case you'll chose Human), you'll get a quest from a chick and nothing will appear on the map, which might trick you but all you'll have to do is inspect her with your Scouter, meaning you'll simply have to press T.
