k so this is not really a little one but when i log in i see this whole boss event fight thing and when tht happenes i see absolutely no npc's or other players...just my avatar and the world...like something out of i am legend. i have patched and re-patched but nothin your help is highly wanted

Same thing happens for me. Whenever the bosses are out, the game goes nuts with graphical bugs, delayed reactions, etc. The server seems to not be able to handle that much going on at once. You should be fine when the bosses are not out. Hope that helps you out man.
Even wih the boss gone, I found that there are still serious lags throughout the game about half an hour after the boss timer has run out. It was really annyoing! But thankfully, now, things are slowly returning to normal!
The servers have issues while the boss event is going on it seems. Also there seems to be a few bugs that have come up.
for the server issue there isnt much you can do try lowering your graphics setting. But your really waiting for Wasabii to fix the issue.
As for the few bugs. These will most likely be over shadowwed by the main lag issues from event so it might take a few patches to fix luckly they dont seem to be too harmful its mostly just server lag.
Yea, your problem is most likely server lag. If you try to move stuff in your inventory, during the boss event, you can test the lag... for me it is around a 3 second delay.
