I don't know if anyone has heard this but a new winnie the pooh movie is supposed to come out this year or the next year. Now I'm not really going to see it (I'm not a big fan of Winnie the Pooh). But I'm actually excited because it shows that Disney is starting to make more Traditionally Animated Movies as opposed to 3D movies. Don't get me wrong Computer Generated Movies are fine but I prefer Traditionally Animated Movies much more and it seems as though Disney is keeping the promise that it made After the success of Princess and the Frog by saying that it will try to release a 2D movie every 2 years.

So, is anyone going to see this movie and is anyone else happy that disney is going back to it's roots.

I'm with you on this, I strongly prefer the traditionally animated movies. I'm pretty dang happy that they're sticking true to their roots, because their 3D films were all kinda... meh. Certainly not anything worth celebrating, and not must-sees. As someone who really liked Winnie the Pooh back when I was younger, both the cartoons made by Disney and the old books, I'll almost definitely go to see it.

Exactly, the only Computer generated movie of their I prefer is Toy Story and that still doesn't speak to me like their Traditionally Animated Movies do.

A lot of the Disney/Pixar films are pretty good, not just Toy Story. Cars and The Incredibles were both great films. Others, like Bolt, simply fell flat on their faces.

Yeah I know I enjoyed Up and the Incredibles. But I stated only Toy Story earlier because it was my favorite.

I prefer the traditional way, I guess im used to it. Never fancied computer generated movies. I remember my favorite being "The Emperor's New Groove" I found funny the english title since in my country its translated "Pacha and the Emperor/Pacha e o Imperador", still have it in VHS (damn).

I only watched Toy Story,Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, and they were pretty good I liked the plots and characters, but not much more.

...Everyone else who posted in this thread.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that you have to be rude about it. You could simply abstain from posting in the thread or state politely that you don't like it. Many people happen to like Winnie the Pooh because it's a childhood memory, and some elements, like characterization, can in fact hold up under critical scrutiny. Fact of the matter is, it's a classically animated Disney film, you're going to get a lot of whiplash for implying that it's just a stupid kids movie.

After all, Dragon Ball is just a stupid kids show, now isn't it?
