I was recently thinking about getting an Ipad it looks cool and awesome and what not but just one problem. I'm not so sure that dbo will be compatible with apple software. I never really tried it out before so im a little on edge about it. So does anyone here have a mac and if so how well does dbo work on it? And one more question are you able to see the korean characters? Oh and I'm getting a 64 GB storage thats the biggest one they have so I'm not too worried about the memory it takes up.

I know for a fact that DBO doesn't run on the mac OS. You have to have some program that lets you run windows on your ipad, or some other program that lets windows programs run on the mac OS. Once you get this, it should be the same as playing on any PC.

I don't know if DBO runs on mac but I think that Zackjdi was right about the special program. I have an ipad so I'll try to find that program within the next two weeks but if I can't find I'll let you guys know. First of all I would like the idea of a carry around DBO. If you're on a train Then just pull out your ipad and continue on quest or what ever you wanna do.

Actually since I've only played on my PC and I was Wondering if you need WIFI to play DBO even on your ipad? If you do then I guess you can't just take it any where you want without a care in the wourld.

Well Gokent, I've had some experience in WIFI for DBO and yes it is possible, (ClearWire) is another network source that allows mini modems to be carried with you at all times allowing you to go on the internet riding a train, but even though ClearWire says it's highspeed is the fastest that is a straight up lie. I don't recommend it, but yes, that is another source of WIFI on the go.

DBO will never be playable on an ipad. The touch interface would be too complicated to port over, and the ipad isn't powerful enough to run such a game. The only option is to wait for the developers to bring out a specific DBO app wich would have to be a large step down from the complete game or else mouse connectivity and massive amounts of power which would essentially turn your ipad into a small moniter.

Buy a mac. The best virtual machines to use windows are VMware fusion or Parallels. At the minute we are using VMware which has pretty bad graphics on DBO. Parallels displays perfect graphics but the mouse setting which are fused with the original mac settings make the camera jump all over the screen and we were unable to click to do quests. They'll probably fix it with a future update.
But yeah DBO runs fine with VMware despite a little drop in the graphics performance.
