Good morning,

I have installed and patched DBO. I also installed the English patch I start the game (Run as admin) and a few things happen.
[LIST=1][*]THe game takes 3-4 min to load to the main screen.[*]I finally got to create my character and when I went to load the tutorial, the game never loaded. It just stayed on that loading splash screen. [/LIST]
Is there something I am missing?

I running windows 8 64-bit
Intel Cor i7 @ 2.40GHz
8gb ram
Nvidia GeForce GTZ 765M

Any assistance would be appreciated. I have been wanting to p;lay DBO for a long time.

I am glad for you , but you might even post how you fixed it so you would help others.

If any newbies read this thread i would like to add something. When you first install the game dont run the english patch. Run the game first time in taiwanese so it loads all initial stuff that it needs to load without patching. This can cause lags later in game. When you do that, exit the game, patch it and run it again and make a new character if you want to go through tutorial again. Hope this helps
