Celebration/Bragging Threads

If you want to post a thread celebrating you or your guild's victories you're free to do that, but the thread should be about your win, and not about someone else's loss.

If your opponent is or has been a member of this site, try and get permission from them before posting your thread. If you don't have permission, you should try and exclude or censor out any information identifying your opponent(s).

If you see yourself being shown as the loser of a bragging thread, and you'd like for it to be removed, you yourself should report the post. In your report, you should include a screenshot of your character to prove that it's actually you, and you should also mention where exactly in the post your character is being shown.

Changed on Aug 25 to only pertain to opponents who are members of this site. Added information about how to report posts that violate this rule.

Calling Out Other Users

If a user creates a thread that is the result of them exploiting the game in a way that gives them an unfair advantage, and you have video evidence to prove it, then you're allowed to post your evidence as a reply to that thread. Your post must contain a video showing what you're accusing the user of doing, elsewise your post will be deleted and infractions may be given.

This exception only applies in cases where the user has an unfair advantage over his opponents. If in a PvP scenario both users/groups are exploiting the same bugs, then this exception does not apply.

Apart from this exception, the "Do not call out users for something they've done in-game" rule is still in effect. Threads created the intention to call out other users are still not allowed. Posts calling out other users must also not break any other rules, such as "flaming" or "off topic".

SS Forum-specific Bans

Any user who has more than 5 active infraction points will be banned from posting threads and responses in the Screenshots forum. You will, however, still be able to still browse this forum. This ban will be lifted after the infractions keeping you over 5 points expire.

Flaming

Attacking another user's thread here in any way (apart from the exception above) will be considered flaming. The only proper way to react to someone flaming is to report their post. Encouraging flaming to continue by responding to it will put you at risk of getting infracted yourself.
