Hello everyone, i was an old taiwan server player.
Before i had another pc, with windows vista.
Now i have powerful pc with windows 8 and i searching for the solution..
I find just peaple like me, when the gameguard load, black screen and reboot system.
I have not a critical error. Just an relative pc error.
I don't think it's caused by Windows 8.. other peaple work fine with that.
Just ask if you know something..

check resolutions start with a normal one,and start increasing ingame,i suggest you starting at 1024x768 in window screen...if that doesnt work then force widows 8 screen resolution to a lower than you got now,and run it till it bring you normally ingame...
I noticed one thing .. when I open any file that has to do with dbo, suddenly slows down the pc..you can have a problem with the region settings? Or just with some file on that client?

All that region thing has to do with instalation priviledges etc. atleast for dbo,but i dont know nothing on how win 8 works so i might misslead you on something...I mean like on win 7 the region should be on TW for TW servers so you could run the game once,then you can change it again,for HK you need to make it in TW to install it,then you can change it again...
also the sudden slow down brings me something like compability issue...
i suggest you to search the forums for win 8 problems and see if someone had problems and solved,also might someone help you in pm's that he is actually running dbo on win 8...
