I keep seeing these kinds of symbols through out most of the game

" [][][][][] " how do we fix this translation?
i got the Taiwanese version.

then i get some of these " [][][][] goku [][][][]"

Did you install the Taiwanese language support in windows? You found it under "Region settings" or something simular.

ooh sorry im all late.. i dont kno i saw the "download language patch" on this website and thats it. followed the taiwense instructions. and i have windows 7.

everytime i talk wit an npc i get that "[][][][][] robbietherabbit? [][][][]..."

did i do somthin wrong?

change your Windows OS Region/Language to Chinese traditional. at Windows Control Panel menu. then, restart your pc. done.

ok thanks. i got the Taiwan version can i change my region to Taiwan or it dont matteri have to chance it to China?

they same.. China, Hongkong or Taiwan. atleast your text in game "[][][][]" again.

ok it worked i got rid of the " [][][][] " but now most of the npc words is Taiwan lol. i guess the english translator works a little bit.. is there another patch?

Not everything has been translated yet, but you can change the display language on you computer so that the characters show. What you need to do depends on your operating system. I remember we had a guide around here a while back detailing it.
