ok so i downloaded the English patch but when i drag it into my dbo folder but and i click on it it says couldnt find dbo.exe make sure you extract the program to you dbo install folder

Make sure you extract everything patch related to the main "DBO_CT_TW" folder and run it as an admin. The new patch doesn't go in the pack folder anymore, which is generally why people get that error.

i am having a different issue... i installed the Taiwan version and downloaded the patch... i opened the game to let it patch in admin mode... then closed it and ran the patch in admin mode... then opened the game again and it patched again... so i let it patch and then restarted it and it patched again... and again and again... its like its in an infinite patching loop... i don't know how to change any settings since the patcher is in taiwan.. so i decided to run the patch again and it said the lang file needed updated... so i downloaded the file i needed and i put it in the right folder and i then tried to patch again and it said that the lang file needed updated... after this i just decided to open the game and play it real quick... it changed my resolution to 1024x1024 and then said some stuff in taiwan and then crashed...

all i want want to do is play the game... can someone please help????

okay , i see your problem ... First , Download the game , then install [ you already done this ] , then you open the launcher and wait till it FULLY patches ( if you have an old version it will take long to do this) and by FULLY patched i mean until the Numbers of the "Current Version" which is at the top of the Dbo Launcher is 1.57.37 , which is the current version Atm , THEN and only THEN you can English patch , if you do it before the game is fully patched , it will Crash and willnot be able to Update because the Lang File will be Modified and it will Detect that ,

ok i think i may need someone to tell me where to get the installer for the game because i got the one from dbo.wasabii.com and its giving me a weird issue... after fully patching it shows this image:



i click the ok button and it says i can start but it freezes and makes my resolution go down... if i close it after this image the reopen the launcher it does the patch over again... i don't know what its saying because i don't read chinese..

Yes, you'll need to download and reinstall the client again. Make sure when you do this, you delete the DBO root folder as the English patch will still give you problems if it remains with the new install.

this is the site i went to the first time... i used both methods of downloading the client.. the downloader and the bittorrent... the bittorent one is the one giving me all the problems... and when i use the downloader it doesn't download anything... it says that its complete and then i don't see a downloaded file... i ran it as an admin so i don't know what im doing wrong...

does this game require being installed on a 32bit o/s or am i ok with my 64bit?

i think i got it figured out... i downloaded one from dler... its one of the other options... and it seems to be actually patching... will let you know..

i restart the game and it does the infinite patch again...

forgot to run exe as admin... will update after patch

did a complete uninstall and removed the game... restarted computer and now installing

ok... the game just doesn't want to patch... im starting over... completely... and i found the forum post on how to setup and install and sign up an account... will give this another go... you can't say i didn't give it the ol' college try :)

well i managed to get the program installed and patched and put in the english patch... started up the game and everything worked@!!!... but...

i was in the terms and conditions and accidentally hit reject... now its saying that the game is failing to initialize... im wondering if now i have to reinstall it again...
