Each quest has a number of different lines. For instance, the first line (always ends in a 01) contains the zone the quest is in. The second line (always ends in 02) is the name of the quest. The number of lines per quest varies, and some can have as many at 15 or more.

It's really recommended you use this mode of the Language Patcher to get a good feel for where each line of text will appear in-game.

Literal translations aren't completely necessary either. For instance, something like "Scan the NPC who gave you this quest" would be a decent translation for the very first quest in the game.
