It works but sometimes its better and faster EXP for your to just do quests that are your level. Grinding is still possible and at times effective in DBO but for the most part its not the best way to level only farm. Quests are usually the way to go for fast great exp
Also you can team up with someone the same level as you and quest together. Thats the best way to sorta power level, as in a party your party member kills your Quest Mob(monster) or collects a quest item it still will count for you.

For grinding.
You have 100% exp scrolls
Use +12 ticket on a quest glove
If you use those 2 and do nothing but grind 20-30 can be done in 5-7hrs
Farm outside UD1 because the Saibaman are easy to kill
then around 24-25 maybe around TMQ1
EXP is depend your level. ex: if you kill 1 mob lv 50. and your char level is 20, EXP reward you got only 200-350 (solo). if you in party EXP reward will be divided to each members in party. ex: 300 : 2, 300 : 3, etc. so, you only got 150 EXP or less.
every level up, EXP reward for your char increased. ex: your char level is lv 50, so you kill 1 mob lv 50. EXP reward you got around 500-650 (solo).
