I just downloaded the Taiwanese version of DBO, and installed the English patch. I watched and read a million tutorials, so I'm convinced I did it right. I can open the launch menu... and that's it. The start button is grey and I can't click on it. It keeps saying that it's downloading patches, but it's been downloading many over the last 20 minutes. Do I need to wait for the patches to finish installing, or is there something else wrong?

How do I start this game!?

Yes you need to wait patches one by one .

i keep getting an error message that has a bunch of"??????" and a green bar that looks like its trying to connect to something. any ideas on how to fix that? I have already reinstalled and redownloaded the game 4 times now and still the same stupid error DX

Install new graphics that all what i can say about this error.

IT will work no need to update graphics.Just forbinden connection is closed.

Edit: How can I fix the connection? it is still giving me this stupid error DX and i have updated everything and i have ran it 5 times now and still no progress

Re-install the game again but make sure you change your local to Simplified Chinese (TW) and try again
