So I download the new patch and my ever reliable DBO.exe fails me miserably.
So I follow the advice repeated over and over and over like it were the DBO bible and let the game update.
So far so good, right?
Wrong.
I now have an error that isn't listed on the whole INTERNET. Everyone gets the Debug Assertation Failed error but it appears that no one has MY error.
It very politely informs me that it failed to auto-create WorldMapTable.cpp and even repeatedly clicking ignore doesn't help because it crashes on the loading screen after selecting my channel. Can ANYONE help me out with this error because I'd really like to be able to get back on the game even though every single update makes a severe c*ck up of everyone's game.

Additional.
I've just noticed that the error it is throwing up is referring to my disc drive. Yet I downloaded the installer with the DBO Downloader... any ideas?

A second update. I uninstalled and reinstalled the direct download version. Now I get error 183 game create failed and I've tried EVERY fix I can find for it and it STILL wont go away. I'm also running it as admin.
