Engineers use guns if I'm not mistaken, and I highly doubt they'll be crafters, since there is pretty much a free reign crafting system.
We'll just have to wait and see what they'll do.

Don't forget, Rozeros, that one of their master class is named "Mech Maniac", too. So they probably won't all be limited to guns. Just ones that roll Gun Maniacs.
I will be making an Engineer when they are released, which i hope is shortly (within the next few months.) My guess is that they will be ranged combat mainly, and if you roll a mech maniac they will be similar to a Poko Priest, in that they can summon minions... though this is pretty obvious.
I was originally thinking that they would be like every other class and have gloves as a primary weapon as children... but then I remembered that Dragon Clan Nameks do not have gloves, but instead staffs. So what good would it be to have a bunch of melee attacks and then have no need for them after level 30 when you get your master class and go to ranged attacks? Or have a bunch of spirit attacks and get guns at level 30?
Well, the spirit attacks COULD actually work. And by this I mean, be somewhat like a Spiritualist until level 30, as in having long range spirit attacks, not quite the same as a spiritualist, but similar... and then after you choose your master class, use your ki and skills youve learned as a child to make certain attacks with your weapon more powerful.
OR what I was getting at with the Dragon Clan reference:
Why not just have them use a gun as a primary weapon (I'm gonna assume one with unlimited ammo, lawlz) instead of gloves? As the Dragon Clans have staffs, they prove that gloves aren't needed.
I am also expecting the Engineer to have small healing abilities and/or buffs. Not too much to take away from other classes, and thus giving people even MORE reason to roll Human, but just subtle things to help out.
P.S. So jacked to roll an Engineer, I've got a free character slot ready for when the time comes.

I mean just enginees, not including their master class. I believe there was a thread on this subject a while back, I'm too lazy to look for it at the moment, but I'll probably re-post it here if/when I come across it again.

All of the humans have that transformation, so why not Engineers too? It only makes sense.
