Currently, vehicles are the only free controlled method of transportation available to a player that provides an increase in movement speed. Unlike in other MMOs, where there is some sort of level restriction to vehicles or mounts, the only restriction in Dragonball Online is how much the player is willing to spend. While it's possible to get a vehicle at level 1 you'll need some assistance from a higher level character.

The first place you'll find a vehicle dealer is in the Village of Korin. This is in the zone that players will first go to after they're finished with their own race specific zone. Near the center of the village you'll find your first vehicle dealer (pictured to the right) who well sell you the most basic vehicle and fuel. This particular vehicle has a speed of 10 and the fuel he offers does not increase speed and is only used to fuel the vehicle.
Both the vehicle and the fuel will only be usable by the player for a predetermined amount of time. The more you spend on each the longer you'll be able to use them. Players will be able to own their vehicle and fuel for periods of 1, 7, 15, 30, or 90 days. You may also only hold 1 of these items at a time. You can buy another with a longer duration, but it will replace the old one. The cost for the cheapest vehicle is 45,000 Zeni and 1,200 Zeni for the cheapest fuel. Vehicles and fuel may not be traded between players or sold in player owned shops.
Once you have a vehicle you can right click on it in your inventory or drag it onto your spell bar and use it there to get on top of it. When you do this: a special vehicle interface will appear below your character. The button on the left will force you to leave your vehicle while the button on the right will turn your vehicle on and off. Your fuel will appear between these two buttons with a fuel gauge at the bottom showing how much time you have until your fuel runs out. When your fuel runs out you will be forced to go and by some more, but when the timer on your vehicle runs out you will be prompted and may purchase more time with the vehicle without returning to the dealer. The vehicle will not move unless you first put fuel into it, you can do this by right clicking on your fuel in the inventory.

The vehicle and fuel pictured above were the only types available to testers during the first and second beta; though, there will be more advanced versions obtainable later in the game. Higher leveled vehicles and fuels are expected to provide the player with more speed.
