Well, no, not a hard cover manga in the markets, but a digital one, a webmanga. Whos gonna create it you ask? Why you should be ashamed! Me of course!
Anyways the main dood of our series is a little 15 year old boy stuck in the pit of his house all day and night. He makes up his mind to venture out into the vast world of Dragonball.
Naturally, since it's my call, he'll be a martial artist, sorry to anyone whos already disappointed :P He'll be accompanied by a spiritualist chick and a namekian healer. (I don't hate majins >.> I just dont think theres room for one in there, I like to keep my crime fighting heros at a limit of three :[)
His rival will be a mighty majin though (w00t), a tough guy I guess, and uh, he'll probably be skinny like kid buu (take ages to draw a fat one). He'll have a wonder majin girlfriend that helps him be badass when he wants to. Don't hate majins at all :]
Of course this can't be a fanmanga of the widely popular DBO if its created by just one fan D: Thats where you guys come in.
Clothing, accessories, shoes, etc will be decided buy you guys. I'm not good on designing either >.>, so the best will be judged by me and a couple mods, then be put in a poll for you all to pick the finals. If you want to take a screeny of clothing or accessories feel free to do so, just link it back, you can also go ahead and draw up your own, take a pic/scan, and link it back.
You'll get the chance to tweak the story too, if you have any ideas, plotlines, any easter eggs wanted to be put in, etc etc, send me a private message, and we'll talk it out.
Naming these guys will be put off until the designing is finished (thanks to
Nuarda for reminding me itll be hard to name these guys with out a visual conception of the character).
Another thing, I cant make everyone in this manga up, so the people he meets through his adventures will be the members in DBOCOM! Isn't that just dandy? To be featured, I'll do some lame half assed contest once an idea comes to mind (pm me if you have any ideas for a contest, and if I like it, you'll become a character in the manga ;]). If one of your designs for clothing, hair, etc gets chosen, you'll get a spot in the manga.
Alright, I kinda messed up, but this is newly updated and lets hope I didn't miss anything. Oh and I'll create a seperate thread for each main character explaining them, then we can get on to the names. Once all the details are sorted out, I'll start drawing, so the faster you guys are, the faster it'll be until you read it.
PS: Sort all your ideas for clothing etc by character. Also, keep it down to one suggestion per person guys. Oh and if you're gonna post, don't just post for the hell of it saying "oh great idea!" or "this sucks!", I'd like suggestions, the sooner the better.
