Have they kept the game fairly balanced on this aspect or are there still the occasional overpowered no jutsus that shows up every now and again in MMORPGs?

Before the full release, everyone complained that healers had over powered healing moves. I don't know of right now, though since i'm not very far into the game.

Those kind of moves always show up in MMORPG's, especially ones that are still in development. Since when you add something new to an existing mix the result isn't always predictable. And balancing stuff out is hard enough to begin with.

yes there is.

now, with RP bubble any MA can spam stuns forever( or 'till you're dead) , Rogafufuken and some sword skills hit kill you.

Fixing that would balance the game a lot.

Last tenkaichi all participants were Swordmen, does that mean something?

Ok now, I know myself I might be the person with the least knowledge on DragonBall Online itself since I am unable to play it, but from what I see the energy attacks arent as powerful as the ones in the show, not that they should be, but they do make a difference. The charging and battle between long range energy attacks and close range attacks has always been a dispute on many many games, even lower ones where its magic and fighting, which is better, that one is overpowered, but from what it seems, that the fact you have to give up energy for certain energy things while close range attacking does not, it makes it extremely hard on whether or not they are even. It seems to me the long range attacks usually help them win. While the fighter is running up to attack close range, the longe range fighter is already blasting. In short, there has not been a single game in history that couldnt keep the characters equal unless you spent points on the characters, or if it is just a level game. So, no, chances are they did not have this game balanced, but it seems it is quite close to it making you charge for attacks and the levels upgrading them....(I have got to stop the run on sentences)

Both physical (melee) and energy based attacks cost energy to use them really...
And in this game physical moves are usually joined with either a pull or a rush attack which can get you to your enemy instantly. So physical vs energy is pretty much on par in this game.
Both types have instant and 'charge' attacks aswell as channeling attacks which take a certain duration, again they're on par.

The entire energy vs physical thing has nothing to do with balance however... And as you said there hasn't been a single 'perfect' balance in any game known to man, things constantly change and the balance is constantly shifting.

However, should that from debating which attacks we think are overpowered at the moment? Or try to 'fix' that imbalance? :P

*cough cough* wolf fang fist is a cool sounding attack*cough cough*
*cough cough* tri beam* cough cough*

I just like the tri beam attack. It got somebody like tien to hold down cell in his imperfect form, and his power level compared to cell at the time was absolutely pitiful. Yet he still held him down.
