Hello.
I need some protips about making a hybrid PVP/PVE SK build. I want it because I am doing some TMQs and CC with friends and I also want to have fun in PVP. So I maked this build but I still have some questions.

The last SP I will put into Dragon's Will but the site doesn't show that it has higher lvls than 1/1. I want it because I need some aggro skills when we will be doing CC and TMQs.

Do you have any advices about the two GN skills?
And what about the curse?
I am thinking about taking fear down and maxing curse instead.


I do know that SK will never catch up with DW in tanking but I think DW would be too boring when not doing TMQs/CC.

I think I've got all most important skills both for PVP and PVE but you're welcome to come with some criticism.
I don't want people to post their builds in this topic. I want you to comment this one and eventually tell me where can I take SPs from and where to put them instead. If you want of course.

I maked some thoughts and after some discussions and advices the final build looks like this:

Curse instead of fear and Draconic curse for better control of the aggro because of low cooldown. Maxed Violent Slice for longer stun. Last SP still into Dragon's Will.

I would max Violent Slice because it stuns and it's an AoE attack, so it could be useful at CC and TMQs.

DW is quiet good in tmq's & UD's. He maintained the aggro pretty well in pve and somewhat against bosses we had sk's too but the dw was spamming skills so his aggro never fell down.

Anyways when u max Violent slice u get 5-6 sec stun,45m range is pretty big and its AoE.

Dragonic Curse maxed gets an AoE too which is good for tanking & maintaining aggro, weakening enemy's. Slash is not needed its a waste its power doesn't get much better even maxed.

Just max Cleave because its an AoE has KD that works on bosses.

Self destruction wave has a long cast time and the CD is kinda meh but if u combine it with Kaioken + good gloves & Deception u can keep the Aggro while casting it and do 6--10k or more damage.

No matter how u do your build any kind of tanking build will be good because when the caps increases u can make it better and better.

Giant Namek for SK's is not needed because they can keep the aggro pretty well with debuffs,violent slice & cleave. They can aggro boss with bold strike,steal live & other debuffs.

But ye u can get GN for more defense & pve ... etc. But in my opinion GN is better for DW's,Dragon Clan's. Don't get me wrong GN is not bad for SK's i just wanna say that they have the skill required to tank np even without it.

Thank you very much for your feedback guys. Could you look at the second build I posted and tell me where should I take the SPs from for Violent Slice? And Is it necessary to max Draconic Curse if I only will use it with Dragon's Will to maintain the aggro? I am lvl 40 atm so I can only take SPs from the skills I haven't taken yet.

Well its not a bad build either it's kinda balanced. You can continue with it and on the next cap u can make it better.

But I am still wondering If 1/2 in both GN spells is a good choice. Also high curse instead of high fear. Can you tell me more about how necessary these two spells are? Is it a good choice to have fear on 1/4 and curse on 4/4? Is Curse really that good? And also does it make a difference in draconic curse between 1/4 and 3/4 if I only want it to maintain my aggro?

The only thing I think I could change in this build is to remove fear and Dragon's Oath and max Violent Slice for these 2 SPs. What do you think about it?

So is fear not usefull at all?

Fear is really usefull for PvP, but if you want to go PvE too, It think a maxed Violent Slice is better than Fear at level 1.
