oh someone is having problems with their computer and they said when they turn it on, it gave them a blue screen that did a data dump. something about Kernel Dara Page error.

and then their computer keeps booting with shadowing something.

something about PXE 2.0 E61 media test, but that doesn't work, (when they connect cord, it tries to load some Mac address but that doesn't help.

an strangely they check the F2 menu and the system mem is at 640 kb and extended is 222mb.

They have no option to remove caching/shadowing and F8 does nothing.

so yeah, maybe they should of forced the system off when it was doing physical memory dump because that might of messed things up.

PXE is ethernet controller right? Is the thing connecting to the internet on boot, try to turn it on physically disconnected from the network.

If you can get into the BIOS you could maybe load a recovery disk with the boot order(but you said F8 is not working). Or disable PXE altogether. Kernel errors are nasty, could be a number of things doing it. I would start with testing RAM first and foremost if the System Memory is reading that low.

If that doesn't work I dunno maybe setting ARE corrupted and resetting CMOS might help(but doubt it).

Run ur OS in safe mode then run msconfig & disable all programs from starting up. Fixed a blue screen for me once.
