Lately i've been having a huge problem. This message pops up from gameguard in-game and it's saying something in taiwanese. Plus it has a count-down that, once gotten to 0 just closes my game. And when i click that button it also closes my game. Any help with this would be appreciated, and if anyone can translate what the text says, that would be fantastic! here's the picture:

Hack Detected issues..

Just delete the gameguard folder in your DBO Folder then restart the game.

Delete game guard folder and run game again! and that's it! :D

No ofence intended to wither GiskaSRB or Dumke_480 but that didn't work or me or i didn't restart the game restart as in reinstall it or re launch the launcher?

Maintenance is on now, but you might want to try and make sure that the gameguard.exe command is not open. Go to your task manager and close it before you run DBO. This problem has occured for me too and this is what helped me solve the problem. That and what carmelo15 mentioned, restaring your computer!

This is happening to me, i have an english version of the game and it says "A hack has been detected, shuting down game ext..." nd the count down 9 8 7 6... then bloop, shut down -_-, but thnx for the sugguestion, ill definitly try all of them. ")

I have tried all of the suggestions above... deleting my gameguard folder... restarting my PC...
The only thing that I can think of that might have caused a problem is that my Avira popped up when I first loaded the game and said "Host file blocked" when Gameguard tried to update for the first time. It doesn't do that anymore, but i am still getting the Hack Detected error.
Can someone please help me out? I can't get more than 20 seconds into the game without it kicking me off.


(SOLVED) Avira doesn't seem to like gameguard very much, so if you run Avira Free anti-virus here is a workaround.
1. Right click on your Avira icon on the toolbar. (bottom-right corner)

2. Left click on "Configure Avira..."

3. Make sure you move the slider to Expert mode. (If you're already in Expert mode, skip this step.)

4. Expand (click on) the "General" tab in the left hand section.

5. Click on the "Security" tab and UN-check all 4 options. (May require a restart.)

6. ????

7. Profit

If u have avira do what Shabster says that will solve ur problem permanently . p.s. More successful solution than restarting ur pc
